Hi, On Fri, Nov 11, 2011 at 01:30:12PM +0100, Robert Oschwald wrote: > today I tried to install dovecot-sieve and dovecot-managesieve from > stable, but the corresponding dovecot package seems not to be in > stable: true, this is because some users do not want to see packages in "stable" that replace vendor packages. So these packages - even though fully qualified to be in stable - have been moved to testing. This scheme needs to be revisted, but it kind of complicates the setup even more (two dimensions in subrepos, one for stability and one for replacement-or-not). Anyway, it's a know issue in the RHEL repos of ATrpms. > There are many dovecot versions in testing, but > 1:2.1-0_130_alpha1.el5 doesn't seem trustable. How about 2.0.x? It's the upstream stable version and resides in testing. > dovecot-1.2.17-0_115.el5.x86_64 from testing has issues with > dovecot-managesieve-0.11.12-0_5.1.el5.x86_64 and leads to: > > dovecot: managesieve-login: Fatal: Dovecot version mismatch: Master is v1.2.17, login is v1.2.16 (if you don't care, set version_ignore=yes) That's a bug, managesieve wasn't rebuilt when dovecot 1.2.x was. If you are in a hurry use version_ignore=yes, but I'll respin packages of 1.2.x/0.11.x in the next hours, so you may want to recheck later. But I still recommend using 2.0.x and pigeonhole 0.2.x instead. -- Axel.Thimm at ATrpms.net _______________________________________________ atrpms-users mailing list atrpms-users [at] atrpms http://lists.atrpms.net/mailman/listinfo/atrpms-users
