Is this a typo and you mean alsa? I'm trying various (grasping at straws) things to try and eliminate the random pauses. I've managed to reduce the pauses to a some what acceptable level. At the time I hadn't enable the testing and bleeding repositories, found the appropriate alsa-kmdl in bleeding.
