kernel-2.6.32

Is there anyway to get updates to a newer kernel for fc12. I am using the 31
kernel and from doing some research there is a bug with lirc_serial that is
fixed in the 32 kernel.

If not is there a way I can compile it and install it myself? Not too
fimalar with compiling kernels. But I have been unable to control my mythtv
box from my remote for some time and I miss my good old remote J thanks for
everything
