I upgraded using the recommended preupgrade method on my laptop. Will also
be doing this on my Mythtv machine. I went straight from Fedora 10 -> 12
without issue. This method creates a temporary repository then adds the
upgrade GUI to the boot options so that when you reboot it runs the normal
Fedora upgrade GUI -
