Dovecot dovecot-sieve dovecot-managesieve

I have been looking all morning for dovecot-sieve and
dovecot-managesieve rpms/specs. I found a dovecot-sieve spec from pld
linux and fedora 11 has dovecot-sieve and dovecot-managesieve
packages.

>From the archives I see it has been mentioned before about building
dovecot-sieve and dovecot-managesieve from dovecot-devel and that is why
the it hasn't been done. Fedora builds sieve and manageseve from one
spec. This is going to be the quickest solution until dovecot 2.0 when
managesieve is a real plugin. Is there a reason building dovecot then
dovecot-sieve then dovecot-managesieve is not a good solution?

Attached is the hacked spec I'm using. I need to test it in mock to
make sure I have all of the dependencies.
Attachments: dovecot.spec (32.1 KB)

It has been done for dovecot-sieve since October 2006.

It is a plugin now as well. It just needs an additional patch which is
already applied in the dovecot packages. Therefore dovecot-managesieve
can be built as is, it just needs someone to drive it and see if all
dependencies, paths etc are sane.

PS. This thread should probably be in atrpms-devel, if you are
subscribed there as well, you may want to reply there.
