After a bit of digging around I have found the source of the problem . I initially thought that I was not using lirc in my setup , as it turns out I was half right . Mythtv is not using lirc and that is why it continued to work . However 3'rd party players such as mplayer xine etc are using lirc . I did not notice at the time I upgraded to myth .22 from atrpms-testing that a new lirc package sneaked in . Looks like it broke my RC , because as soon as I backed it out , everything started working again . Best Regards Milorad
