fcpci kmdl for 2.6.18-164.el5xen CentOS

Hi,

There are a few different kmdls for 2.6.18-164 kernels on
http://atrpms.net/dist/el5/fcpci/ but since yum doesn't pull the right
one for my xen domU automatically I guess the kmdl for 2.6.18-164.el5xen
just hasn't been built. Maybe I'm blind though.

Regards, Chris

it was build and then removed when the next kernels were released, but
the CentOS 2.6.18-164.2.1.el5 seems to be missing, alsthough there are
2.6.18-164.2.1.el5.plus kernels out. I would suggest to use the latter
kernels then, until CentOS releases 2.6.18-164.2.1.el5.

Well, this doesn't help in a xen domU. There are no modules for
plusxen-kernel either:

# uname -r
2.6.18-164.2.1.el5.plusxen

# yum install fcpci
[...]

You could try using --skip-broken to work around the problem
You could try running: package-cleanup --problems
package-cleanup --dupes
rpm -Va --nofiles --nodigest

Right, I remember now - some projects don't build under a xen kernel
and fcpci is one of them. If you try to rebuild the rpms or just use
plain source you will hit some build error.
