Axel, Linphone v2 ----------- I was able to get Linphone v2.1.1 built for RHEL/CentOS 5.3. These should be ok for the "stable" repo. Please send me upload information when you get the chance. Here's the list of packages that I made (total is ~10MB): gsm-1.0.13-1.src.rpm libeXosip2-3.3.0-1.src.rpm libosip2-3.3.0-1.src.rpm linphone-2.1.1-3.src.rpm ortp-0.14.2-0.4.20080211.src.rpm (added a libortp7 package) speex-1.2-0.11.rc1.src.rpm Linphone v3 ----------- Contrary to the website info, it seems Linphone v3.x requires features in GTK+ 2.16 or higher and that in itself pulls in a lot of package requirements. They all appear to be ABI-compatible with existing EL5 versions, but I'm not sure if you want to go through the trouble for that since it'll probably take up a lot of disk space. I'm probably going to try this anyway and I'll drop you a note if I ever get it working. FWIW, Linphone v3.x should build under Fedora 11 with a similar set of RPM's similar to the list above. Although it requires a newer ORTP library v0.16.0 (and libortp8). I'll let you know if I get this working too.
