Yes, It worked in the newest Ubuntu for me too.



Really, it's so annoying a lot of programs working for Ubuntu but not
Fedora. This isn't the first one. The latest version of k9copy also works
great in Ubuntu but crashes in Fedora...

Have you contacted the developer?




The problem seems to be intermittent. If you try several times, sometimes it
works in Fedora, but is is ilk random. Ubuntu is always a little bit behind
Fedora, therefore it tends to be more stable.



If I press the pause button before pressing the rec button,
it seems not to freeze anymore.

Can you confirm this?
