RedHat-art & gtk+ conflicts in MythSuite RPM?

I'm a relative newbie to Linux (Fedora 1 particularly), learning as I go
through Jarod's MythTV HowTo (http://wilsonet.com/mythtv/fcmyth.php),
starting with a clean machine.

In attempting to install the MythTV-Suite, I get the following:

file /usr/share/themes/Default from install of
redhat-artwork-0.90-1.fdr.0.1 conflicts with file from package
gtk2-2.2.4-5.1
file /usr/share/themes/Default from install of
redhat-artwork-0.90-1.fdr.0.1 conflicts with file from package
gtk+-1.2.10-28.1
E: Error while running transaction

I'm not sure how to resolve this issue. In searching the doc's and
online, I can't find anyone else this has happened to, or examples of
how to resolve these kinds of conflicts.

Do I need to build my own MythTV since this RPM failed, or can I force
the selection of one or the other option? Could I install a different
package first that would eliminate this issue?

Thanks for the time, and these RPMs that help newbie's like me a lot.

Russ

the above conflicts are not relavant to any myth part. They should not
happen, if you dist-upgrade instead of upgrade. These packages come
from the kde-redhat repo, and need to be simultaneously upgraded.

If dist-upgrade does not help, you can still comment the kde-redhat
repo and prceed to install myth. But it would be better to track down
the issue, so that the kde-redhat repo is fully functional.

Let us now, if dist-upgrade did help.

You were, of course, correct - dist-upgrade took care of it, and I'm
back on track. Thanks very much for the assistance.
