createrepo from testing

createrepo from testing

Hi, Axel

I tried to install createrepo from testing in a FC5 system
but yum-metadata-parser is not available.
Do you think it is just a question of compiling it using
the source from FC6?

Yes, that's probably all you need. You coudl perhaps even take the
binary rpms from FC6.

No.

error: Failed dependencies:
rtld(GNU_HASH) is needed by yum-metadata-parser-1.0.3-1.fc6.i386
yum < 2.6.2 conflicts with yum-metadata-parser-1.0.3-1.fc6.i386

But it is only necessary to change conflicts yum < 2.6.2 to 2.6.1 and
recompile.
