xorg.conf for nvidia

Hi,

every time I update to a new nvidia release,
I get a segmentation fault because the nvidia
configurator expects to find sections that
do not exist in recent xorg.conf.

Maybe /usr/sbin/nvidia-graphics-switch
could use "x-kit" for adding the missing section,
in a much simpler way:

http://people.atrpms.net/~pcavalcanti/srpms/x-kit-0.4.2-1.fc10.src.rpm

There is also dontzap

http://people.atrpms.net/~pcavalcanti/srpms/dontzap-0.1.2-1.fc10.src.rpm

which uses x-kit for adding the zap option to an xorg.conf.

We need something very similar, just to add

Section "Files"
ModulePath "/usr/lib64/xorg/modules/extensions/nvidia"
ModulePath "/usr/lib64/xorg/modules/extensions"
ModulePath "/usr/lib64/xorg/modules"
EndSection

and replace nv for nvidia.

I think that using dontzap as an example, we could easily
create our own configurator.

What do you think?

Could this be done within
/usr/lib64/nvidia-graphics-helpers/nvidia-config-x.py?
