With vdpau this changes, and I thought that one could create a drop-in like in old times. But it looks too complicated and the path to add vdpau -I/-L extra flags to apps seems easier to go. At the very least the nvidia-graphics-devel package needs to provide versionless variants for -I and -L to use. -- Axel.Thimm at ATrpms.net
