ANNOUNCE/HEADS-UP: Full (experimental) EPIA support at ATrpms
|
|
Hi, ATrpms has EPIA support (for FC3) in o drm-kmdl packages o xorg-x11 packages o mythtv o mplayer All packages, but mythtv can be safely installed on non-EPIA systems. The EPIA enabled mythtv package is in bleeding. So any bleeding nvidia mythtv user should beware of the fact that his XvMC may stop working on the next bleeding update (note that bleeding is developers' playground ;). I still need some time to figure out the best deployment menthod of non-EPIA and EPIA builds (feedback welcome!), probably with two packages set conflicting with each other. Until then stable/testing will be the known non-EPIA builds and bleeding will support EPIA. EPIA users check out http://atrpms.net/dist/fc3/drm/ http://atrpms.net/dist/fc3/xorg-x11-unichrome/ http://atrpms.net/dist/fc3/mythtv-epia/ Many thanks to Jarod Wilson for invaluable consulting services and Terry Barnaby for his work on supporting FC2/FC3 EPIA users.
