read-only balancer-manager

Can anyone think of a way that I can present the /balancer-manager
interface (from mod_proxy_balancer), without allowing the dynamic
reconfiguration part to be used?

I'd like to offer a read-only view of the load-balancer status to some
analysts, without allowing them to reconfigure things or disable
back-end servers.

Cheers,

Mark.

The simplest way would be to Use the Source...

A very quick fix would be to go into modules/proxy/mod_proxy_balancer.c
and hack the line where it makes the hyperlink on the balancer URL (look
for "href"). If you disable the link it will be pretty hard for someone
to get to the config form...

If you want to fo deeper, you could snip out the form as well. And then
remove its functionality..
