Is virtual host directive mandatory in apache 2.2.8

Hi All,

Is virtual host directive(present by default) mandatory in
httpd-ssl.conf file of apache 2.2.8. I am facing some trouble in
enabling ssl on if comment virtual host directive on windows.

Any comment ?

Hello,

please, if you are writing a new post, send it as new mail and not
as reply/followup on old mail. It makes people with threading clients
angry and they can also in such case miss your e-mail.

As per my opinion it is required.
Because I have used it using Virtual host and it is working fine.
