tracing access LOCATION access controls

I'm trying to debug some <location> settings that i have and are not
working.

Is there any way to "trace" - how apache is concidering various <location>
directives.

Something like:
Request is: for FOO
Request is: XXXXX
<location FOO > file: foo.conf - does not match
<location BAR > file: bar.conf - does not match>
..... etc etc ....
"SUCCESS" User granted access

or:
Denied because: File XYZ said THIS

This would be very helpful to debug why something is not working (ie:
protecting what should be)
