blocking or non-blocking socket ?

Hello, I'm interested by the internal architecture of the mpm_worker
in Apache; I've read some documentation available on the Internet
(http://www.fmc-modeling.org/category/projects/apache/amp/Apache_Modeling_Project.html),
I've looked at the source code but I still have one big question: is
this mpm using blocking or non-blocking socket? I think it's
non-blocking but I'd like to have a confirmation.
