I am experiencing similar symptoms of CPU locking up on apache 2.2.8 and 2.2.11
with mod_proxy and mod_rewrite in reverse proxy mode.
I realize that I may be hijacking this thread/bug because my Env is Win2K3 but
I am really interested in knowing what this issues are and hope that the stack
trace/dr. watson log helps (see attachment above).
