Data Centre Manned 24/7
Our data centre is manned 24 hours a day, 7 days a week in case of any emergencies or in the rare event that server adminstration which cannot be performed remotely is needed.
Secure Facility
A mantrap separates the inside of the data center from the outside world. Entry into the data center is strictly limited, both by a passcard and a passcode that must be entered in order to unlock the door leading into the data center.
Climate Controlled
Massive air-conditioners manage the environment in the data center, keeping the machines cool and optimizing performance.
UPS & Diesel Powered Backup
Racks of batteries allow the entire data center to be powered instantly incase of power failure. Diesel generators take over should the battery power get drained.
100% Cisco Environment
Cisco-powered network using Hot Standby Router Protocol (HSRP) for optimum speed and reliability.
Remote Restart
With some of the most advanced power management hardware available, we have the ability to restart any server on our network remotely, thus removing a time-consuming step from support.
Should this last resort measure be required, any one of our techs on staff can restart your server from their location remotely without having to call in to the data centre. Only if this measure does not work will the data center be contacted to manually toggle the switch inside the cage, saving time and reducing the potential for human error.
