Whitelisting

This is a feature that can significantly reduce the amount of mail your server has to deliver. With whitelisting enabled, your mail server checks to see if an incoming e-mail contains legitimate recipients. Mail addressed to random names at your domain will be discarded, thereby cutting down on spam.

If you're running Gossamer Mail, we can configure whitelisting to check against Gossamer Mail's user database and discard any e-mails not addressed to a valid user, which greatly reduces the amount of mail the system has to parse, thus reducing load on the server, increasing speed.
