USMC; Viet Nam vet Been writing computer code since 1975, first computer was Timex Sinclair 2068, 'graduated' up to selling software for the Commodore 64/128 to 'Loadstar', a monthly software magazine back in the 80's, then got into the BBS's back in the late 80's and had some of the first 'internet' networked chat systems for BBS's back then (and still have some of the court papers for what they said was not allowed), then along came the internet and I started focusing on internet level software design and mostly on software that ran behind the scenes and controlled the page that was presented to the visitor (perl / CGI), until now, in late 2010; I still train for Toshiba and Sharp, and still admin a few domains, along with a couple of my personal ones. My latest software design is a system to thwart the drug and porn posters who attack forms at people website, as I do not like the very frequent use of this new 'Captcha' technology, as I feel it should not be the posters responsibility to answer some trick question, but instead, the domain administrators responsibility to secure his own forms.
