Subject: Add cat opens second admin.cgi in main frame
Here goes. Thanks in advance for your help!
When trying to add a category and clicking on the Add Category button, a second copy of the "admin.cgi" runs in the main frame. I try a check cats, then list all... no category is added.
I am running a fresh install of links 2.0, fresh download. I have gone though the permissions FAQ to a T, and I do have another CGI script (a chat script) running OK on the server. As an added bonus, I have run Links 2.0 on another server ok in the past as well.
Some points I can come up with that might help...
- I have seen the server issue cgiwrap errors. Had a look at the Cobalt RAQ/cgiwrap faq... the probs seem to be with the nph scripts. I have not made any mods acording to that FAQ. My other script runs without using /cgiwrap/ in any path or URL.
- Had to create my own cgi-bin dir. The webhost said I could create and use whatever I like for scripts.
- I have gone over and over and over the paths in my .cfg and the permissions.
