If something has been posted on this, I can't find it.

New link is added by a user.
I can validate it and build db; I can view the link in admin.
If I do a search (from the main site) on the title or URL, it's in there -- search results show the correct category, followed by the link itself.
BUT... if I visit the category directly, the link is not listed anywhere.

This is a new problem, it only just cropped up after a server move. It affects new listings only. The installation was fine prior to that. I have no idea where to look. All paths in links.cfg are correct. What am I missing?
