LWP Module Supported???
Hello,

I emailed my server to ask if they support the LWp Module and they said they do. When I verify links I get this message:

Unable to load Parallel User Checker. System Error:
--
Can't locate LWP/Parallel/UserAgent.pm in @INC (@INC contains: /home/cdnbusinessdirectory/www/cgi-bin/cbd/admin /usr/lib/perl5/5.00503/i386-linux /usr/lib/perl5/5.00503 /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.005/i386-linux /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.005 .) at /home/cdnbusinessdirectory/www/cgi-bin/cbd/admin/Validator.pm line 26.

Using IO::Socket method instead.

Is the a certain path that needs to be set up in links. If so, where and what file?

Thank you so much

Mic

You need to upload the LWP folder that comes with Links 2.0 zip file and its respective files in the directory where you have the .cgi scripts...

Example:

/cgibin/links/

Thanks but.....

I downloaded the Links2.zip file again cuz I misplaced it and low and behold, there is no LWP folder in the zip. I remember it being there from long ago, but not anymore. Where can I get this LWP folder and its respective files.

Cheers,

mic

Well, are you trying to use the nph-verify.cgi for Links 2.0??? If so, then you do need the LWP package installed in your server. If you are using Links 2.01, then you should use the nph-verify.cgi that comes with it...since it now uses Sockets and not LWP. Try using the same scripts that come with respective downloads.
