Error with the rating option

Error with the rating option
Hi,

I'm trying to install this script. Everything works fine except the rating option. When I want to rate a link (so I choose a score and hit the submit button) I receive this error:

CGI ERROR
==========================================
Error Message : Can't open for output counter file. Reason: Is a directory

I know, this seems to be an easy error to solve, but I just don't get it. What am I doing wrong?

I've read those threads and tried the answers (changing the CHMODS) but the problem stays...

The only tiem I think I got that problem was, is when I didnt define the hidden ID tag...
