Hi,
I'm running a directory with about 500 links in it. It's Links 2.0 with a few mods. Non to the admin panel. But whenever I try to run a link check to test the urls it doesn't work. The script times out and I don't get a result of dead links.
Has anyone else had this problem and does anyone have any suggestions for fixing it?

Yes, I was never able to run the nph-verify script on my linux host. My solution was to install Perl on my local windows 2000 computer, setup a quick mirror links location on the local machine, download the data files, and then run the verify from the local machine. Although it takes a little while to run, it works every time and saves the strain on the shared server.

Try running it via telnet (perl nph-verify.cgi)
