Building Pages question

Ok, cheesy question here... I'm by no means a guru but I've got everything working. I've worked on a new layout and I'm using SSIs, how do I set Links to create pages with a .shtml extension instead of just an .html extension?

Hi,

Change the two variables in the links.cfg file like below

# The name of an index file.

$build_index = "index.shtml";

# The extension to use for non index files:

$build_extension = ".shtml";

Thanks! OK, I got that done, but on pages like add.cgi, modify.cgi, & subscribe.cgi... I still can't get them to work. Any suggestions on those? Thanks again for your help.

Just that the pages they create are .html(s) instead of .shtml(s) so again, my SSIs are not showing up.

Should have all the navigation and stuff to look like:

http://theslayer.net/links/index.shtml

Thats because, as explained in many post, SSI does not work in CGI dynamiic page Wink
