Hi everyone!

I'd like to display the links of a category directly below the categories name on the homepage. It should look like this:

News (category)

Site 1 [new/pop] - description of Site 1
Site 2 [new/pop] - description of Site 2
Site 3 [new/pop] - description of Site 3
Site 4 [new/pop] - description of Site 4

Sports (category)

Site 1 [new/pop] - description of Site 1
Site 2 [new/pop] - description of Site 2
Site 3 [new/pop] - description of Site 3

etc...

I use templates and the links should be sorted by their number of hits (link with the most hits should be first). As well the 'isnew' or 'ispopular' sign should be displayed if applicable.

I've searched the boards but I could only find solutions on how to implement yahoo-like-subcategories but not any way on how to directly display the links below the categories on the homepage (home.html template)

I've seen the script for subcategories at http://cgi-resource.co.uk/pages/links2mods.shtml
Could this be of use for my needs?

Sounds like the Link Tree Mod (which is listed in the Resources section) is what you'll need to use to address your request.
