Hi i've spent a lot of time making my site look all pretty putting all the templates into tables and whatnot.

I set everything up looks great and then i added all the catergories etc, and a test link. my problem is this, when i built it all my layout is not used on the catergory / subcatergory pages. it reverts back to the basic boring to look at layout provided with the program. I've searched this forum and looked at massive amounts of post and can't find an answer anywhere to this problem.

So how do i get it to use my layout? I'm not using the css file, just the template files. do i need to edit links cfg in some way? or the site_html_template?

what page does the admin draw from to build the new pages? becuase every new index.html file that's built has the wrong layout.

I'd really appreciate some help with this.

you can go to any catergory and it will bring up the wrong layout.

I'm also having a few permission problems etc so ignore those.

As mentioned before, edit the template files in the admin/templates folder.
