I am sure Bobsie is going to write a note saying that this topic is already discussed earlier.

My question :

I know how Multicat functions with the help of $Altcat and the sub in %unique_cat. This allows multiple submission of the same URL in different categories.

In this above modification the pop-up is still shown only one Main pop-up bar in the catagoriy field.

What I would linke to do is the following :

- To define three seperate Main categories fields and also show three pop-ups seperate in the submission fields and also create three fields in the links.db! By on click one could submit to three different MAIN Categories or Multi-Categories. In this each one of the three selection one has to choose the respective sub-categories in all. Therefore a link is submitted in three main/sub-categories at a time.

You mentioned earlier in other message that one can make $Altcat1,$Altcat2,$Altcat3,$Altcat4....etc No problem. Does this mean that one could also create such pop-ups for each of this?

Excuse me.

It was loopy who mentioned about Altcat1, Altcat2, etc.

I had four browsers open then. I made a mistake in looking in the forum. I think there was a message of yours below or above it. So I wrote or quoted wrong.

Your name has been submitted in multiple categories (Expert/Important, etc) of the categories.db Of my head. Sometimes my intellet.db makes a mistake. I think it was the clever_html.pl that made a mistake in generating the header of the message above!!!

This will have to be handles by category1.db, category2.db, category3.db!!!

Is there a way?

To create an extra field in the links.db is no problem. But how to handle these three Categories submissions?
