Subdirectories - need info!
Hello There

I am a new user here, currently using Links 1.1 - really great script!
I wonder if there's possibility to add subcategories to the script and if there is, please post the right code...

Thanks in advance!

Thanks so much again. Everrything works just fine.
By the way, can you suggest any good hosting service with unlimited transfer and CPU usage.

Yes, you can add subcategories to Links v1.1 and it is very easy. See the FAQ at http://www.gossamer-threads.com/...oduct=Links&ww=1

I hope this helps.

Thanks a lot. Many things in life that seems impossible are very easy in practice.

Another question: what if I would like to display, let's say 3 or 4 subcategories under main one - just like in Yahoo. Is possible without adding manually the links to html-generator cgi?

when you set up your main categories, in the Category Description field, place the html to the subcategories you want to list.

That is the only way to accomplish it.

Tomass,

Check out http://www.orphanage.com/index.html . While bandwidth is not unlimited, it is high enough that it can be considered virtually unlimited.

Other than that, there are many, many web hosting services all around the internet. It takes a bit of research to figure out who is good and who is not so good, and what the benefits of each one are.

I hope this helps.
