I've done some modifications to Links and I'd like to be able to output the number of links in my database and the last date that the site was re-built into seperate text files. All I want is a single flat text file with something like - 548 - and nothing else so I can embed it into an HTML file that is not generated by Links. I have a number of HTML pages that are not generated by Links and I would like to be able to put the last time the site was "built" along with the current number of links witout having to manually edit the pages.
