Nonenglish mod Help!
Hello all!

Is there anybody using the nonenglish mod by Matthias Berndt?
I am using and I am having some trouble.
For example:
I have a main cat named "Categorie1" and a sub named "subcat1"
In the page of the categorie 1 Itīs all right but in the subcat1 instead of
displaying Top : Categorie1 : subcat1 it show only Top : : subcat1. And when I see the HTML
code apperar
<a href="myurl">Top</a> : <a href="myurl/categorie1"></a> : <a href="myurl/categorie1/subcat1">Subcat1</a>
Thatīs the problem! And this affects the serach script too!
Another question about this mod is: To use the new field nonenglish I donīt need (or
better I canīt) to put the complete name (for example Categorie_1/Subcat_1)
because it will be shown exactly like this and will not clean up the _, the
/ and separate the names. I need just to put the way it will be displayed
(Subcat 1 , instead of Categorie_1/Subcat_1)..

If anyone havenīt seen this script and want to take a look to the script
and help me, mail me at tmoretti@geocities.com

Thiago Moretti

Ps- I am trying to fix it for days, but i canīt, please help!

I have my way...
First, use english charactors on categories.
I use
Sort_01/HS_01
......
Sort_21/HS_95

Second, modify site_html.pl to be printed metadescription or metakeywords instead of categories_name on your pages.

Third, Use Bobsie's cateogory selection mod found at www.orphanage.com/goodstuff/rcat_mod.html
it will make easy for adding & modifying links on visitors side.

You will find the complete example at
factory.co.kr

I have korean pages and english pages.
Both of them are using same way

in megalinks2 there is an option to add category called: Dir Name and Real Name.
the dir name you can type in name of the category which will be created for the folder name and the Real Name you can type nonenglish char which will be shown up on the
page.. i wonder if anyone can modify links2 something similar to megalinks in thatoption so we can add nonenglish category names

Probably a dumb question but has anyone done a mod into Japanese ???

Any problems with double-byte characters or is that irrelevant ???
