Ok, I'm wondering if there is a way around this.

If I search for the word 'ranma' links returns all of the links that contain the word 'ranma'.

If I search for the word 'xenogears', links returns all of the sites that contain the words 'xenogears'.

--- But ----

If I search for the words 'ranma xenogears mario playstation '

Links returns an error 'no matching records'.

Is there a way to have links return the results in the way Yahoo does by listing all of the names that contain those words in the best matching order?

entered just like this:

ranma xenogears merio playstation

no extra commands

are you doing an AND search, or an OR search?

You are doing an 'and' keyword search from a box on one of your pages, right? Not from your search.cgi page where you can select 'and' or 'or'.

Mark-he is alluded to a thread I started and a hack I am trying (miserably) to write. This would search using boolean 'and', but if there were no results, would restart the search with boolean 'or'. Maybe you have some insight on this hack??
