I've done, the first beta of Language Links 1.0 is ready. It bases on Links2b4 but have included the backup function of b5 - but not the rate it!!

The features:
support for multiple languages, Password-Protect for modify, searchterm logfile, search only this page, the top 5 new, cool and refering pages on the mainpage, links-expirator, sitemap, different
categorynames for each language, a quickbar with the categories from the mainpage on all other pages, displaying the subcategories of a category as description, you could save pages - so links doesn't overwrite them, 3 new graphics, pop graphic, info graphic, automatically looks if you're on- or offline,
and much, much, much more i don't know.....

LLinks is only free for non-commercial pages (same as original Links is!)
the idea of a pages network (like my ford-network) is copyrighted by
me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
you must not clear the footer with the copyrights!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

NOTE: LLinks isn't compatible in anyway with Links 2 by alex. if you use your old links.db you must add some empty fields each link in links.db.

At the moment i haven't included a 'how to install' file. so if you've some question, please mail me.

Or is it possible to make the changes for Links 2.0 (finaly version)?

There isn't a readme-file how to do and you couldn't (i mean) add all the features of Language Links to Links 2. cause i worked more than 2 months for this version. (ok, only in freetime).

The only way you could do, may be: Download Language Links an take a look how I've done.

Very important Information for Language Links!!!!!!

The build staggered wouldn't work!!!!!!!!! The most features only work with build all!

also there is not support for the mods in site_html_template.pl !!!!!

I thought you should know this.
