Since on the Indexfinger site, Joseph mentioned writing an app that will steal all of Yahoo's link (to which he claims he will just write the app and is not responsible for its misuse.. even though Yahoo is copyrighted...) I was wondering if anybody has worked on an app to convert an Indexfinger site to Links?

To my knowledge, it has not been done.

Conversion would depend on the format of the other databases and their structure, which I personally am unfamiliar with.

Well, since they are all text files, shouldnt be a problem.

If I get a free week, I might try it myself.

No shouldn't be a problem.

If the fields are comporable to Links' then it's just a matter of reading them in and reordering them (or removing unwanted ones, or creating needs ones etc).
