Gosmail+Linux+sendmail
Are their any needs to change my sendmail for using gosmail?
I have ordered and get my copy, but have not the time to install it; maybe the next week, i will begin. So its important for me, if i need any other things to do on my server.
Robert

BTW: Another question: As i understand mailing, it was neccessary to have my own dns; isnt it so.
I work with forein DNS for my domains and only with mails hosted via MX on other servers, cause i want to avoid a popper on my server for security reasons. Must i have my own DNS (MX), must i have a popper?

Hi,

The default setup for Gossamer Mail is to use one POP3 account for all users. You can also set it up to do one
POP3 account per user. None of the above should require any changes to sendmail, however there is a third method to set it up. You can set up a pipe to incoming.pl. This will allow you to use Gossamer Mail without having a popper setup on your server. When you set up the pipe you will need to send the name or email address of the user the email is for as the first argument to incoming.pl.

Cheers,

Scott
