I need to restore my LinksSQL from the back-up Links and Category files created by the auto Links SQL backup process. I'm confused why there would be a Links, Links.1, Links.2, Category, Category.2, etc

Most of the data looks identical in each file but there seems to me more in the Links and Category files.

Why are multiple files created, and which do I use to import??

Use the set with the newest date. The number of backups is determined by a parameter in the Links.pm file. Multiple backups provides additional security in case of a problem.
