Wow, it's been over three years since I last posted! I see things have changed!

Anyways, I have a revived interest in Links SQL for a new topic.

Let's say I'm working on a database of people that sell widgets. I will allow general users to browse for free, naturally, but I want to charge a pay-per-listing fee for businesses to list their site.

I plan on offering free listings, possibly, then charging for upgrade options to make their listing stand out more.

Any advice on time-saving methods of integrating Links SQL with PayPal or another merchant program?

Hi. Welcome back :)

Regarding the payment options... I would recommend waiting until 2.1.3, as this should have this feature (or you could contact GT, as I'm sure they have some kind of pre-made plugin/mod that will do this).

Just so you know, there is no deadline for version 2.1.3 yet, so don't hold your breath waiting for it :)

GT Links SQL will support payment for listings in its next version due out shortly. If I recall properly it will support WorldPay, Authorise.net and 2Checkout and a couple others. I suggest you wait for the upcoming release.
