Hi,

This might sound like a stupid question, but how do I do a search on a specific field using the PHP front-end?

The non-php front end using CGI allows you to use ?fieldname=searchterm, however I don't seem to be able to figure out how to do this with the php search, page.php?do=search&query= ???

Can it be done?

It should work. page.php?do=search&query=something&FieldName=something_here

After dozens of attempts, it just decided to work! (?) I was testing it on localhost and everytime I did a search, php had a fatal error of some kind. I got it sorted now.

No prob. I've had that before with PHP on my local PC. It just crashed for no reason at all...I don't think it was just Links SQL doing it though...as it was doing it with other scripts too. Seemed to just sort itself after a couple of re-boots Tongue
