nph-verify.cgi showing html tags in results

An odd thing happens on a new install of gossamer links. when i click on nph-verify.cgi and do a check_links, the resulting page shows the results but in addition also shows all the html tags in the page. eg: it shows the tags <html>, <body>, <td> etc.

What can be causing this?

Mmm, do you have nph-headers enabled? Setup > Misc. Options > nph_headers
