category content tag

long, long ago I added content to a category via this tag. now I can't figure out where or how I did that. it must be right in front of my face... can someone tell me where this content is added? Version: 2.2.0

<%if Category_Content%>

<%Category_Content%>

<%endif%>

You probably added a column to the Category table named Category_Content.

I'm sure that is correct, but how do I find the place where that content was added or can be edited?

Hi,

Are you asking where you can edit what shows on each category? If so, just goto Database > Category > Modify [go], and then look for the category you want to edit. That field should show up on that form, ready to be edited then.

Hope that helps.

I'm not seeing it there. I looked in phpmyadmin and can see the table that was created - Category Content. I was thinking that should be showing up as a table within a category. But when I browse categories and click to edit the category that I know has the added content, the table is not there. so I'm puzzled where I find it.

Hi,

Click "ReSync Database" at at the bottom of that page - does it show then?

the table editor is not quite right. the field is not showing enough text now. what parameter should I set to allow lots of text. right now it's only a hundred characters or so. originally I had a large table to enter text when I would edit a category. now there is just a small one line box like the template line. what parameter in the table editor do I set to make that show and allow more text?
