When I was in the admin, I was looking through setup links and I accidentally clicked on the "setup" link that starts the reinstallation. However, I am still on the page that asks for the SQL setup info., and I haven't gone beyond that point or done anything beyond that point as I don't want to do a reinstall.

When I go back or try to re-login again via admin/admin.cgi and enter the URL in the browser, I still get the same setup page. Is there way I can just abort the setup and go back to the old login page that shows regualar login menu? I tried to close the browser and relogin again just to make sure it is not cached, but I still get the setup page.

I checked via FTP to look at my Config/Data.pm file and my old Data.pm file seems to be still there.

Can I just abort the new install and go back to the old setup or is it not possible?

Hi,

Never done that before - but as a stab in the dark, in /Links/Config/Data.pm, find:

Code:
'setup' => '0',

..and change to:

Code:
'setup' => '1',

(in a working install, that is what the setting is defined as)

Now make sure to do regular back-ups. Or check out ultranerds, they have this plug-in that will do the backups for you on regular (specified) time interval.

Yes, thanks - I have the Ultranerds package and I will use it but I am still testing currently (no data at this time to backup really) but I didn't want to do all the configuration from start.
