Moving to new server, paths all different what to change?
Hello,
Im moving my links database to a new server where all the paths to the file locations are different.

In which files do I have to change all the paths to reflect the new paths on the new server?

Well, in short - pretty much all of them (.cgi, .pl, .pm).

The main ones are;

1) /links/admin/Links/Config/Data.pm (main config file)
2) /links/admin/*.cgi (i.e all .cgi scripts)
3) /links/admin/*.pl (i.e all .pl scripts)
4) /links/*.cgi (i.e all .cgi scripts)

You needto change any occurences of your old path, with the new ones.

To speed things up - you may want to look into "grep replace" (do a search on the forum for more examples - although you need SSH/Telnet).
