I created a new server and moved the links site from iis 6 to iis 7. The site seems to function fine in almost every way including builds and in dynamic cgi mode. However when a user try's to login to rate a link, add a link, or do anything it shows the login screen again. It doesn't throw an invalid login error just simple looks like it refreshes the login page. My guess is it's a rights issue since all the files are the same from the other server but looking for some insight.

Mmm sounds a bit odd. I'm not a fan of IIS personally. Have you verified your cookies are all setup ok? Try clearing the cookies on your PC, and then trying to login again

It's not cookies as I can get the orginal site to work with the same client machine. I only have an event handler for .cgi and not for .php are those files used in the authentication? I'll have to wait until tomorrow to test if adding this event handler will make a difference.
Thanks
Thanks
