Hi,
You should be able to do this in new.html, and add this:

<%Plugins::ULTRAGlobals::Latest_New_Links(100)%>
<%if Latest_Links_Loop.length%>
<%loop Latest_Links_Loop%>
<%include link.html%>
<%endloop%>
<%endif%>
Comment out the existing template code, and then do a build.
It will still build pages like /New/10-12-2009.html etc though.
