If i need only one or two additional tables i modify db_nav.html and copy an existing .def to new.nef.
But for now i want to use the backup-function for really a lot of tables, so this way dont be practicable.

Has anyone an idea how to create the defs for an huge amount of tables?

Hi,

I normally make a .def (based on another .def file), and then do a "Re-Sync" of the table - by going to:

http://www.site.com/cgi-bin/admin/admin.cgi?db=TABLE_TO_SYNC&do=editor_update_def
