template errors using search_engine

template errors using search_engine
we are using the search engine templates on our site and for some reason the t=search_engine gets lost and then the site doesn't work. For example, when someone is notified of a new post, and you click on that to go to the post, the template option isn't there (because they are a guest I assume). Is there a way to fix this??

Hi,

Do you have a URL you can post? i.e. what URL are they going to that loses the search engine templates?

Cheers,

Alex

this is from a notifcation that is received when a new thread is posted. I believe it was a mod we added on. The email says click on this link:
http://www.topweddingquestions.com/...um_view&forum=19&

which shows the error.

Yeah, the error is;

Quote:
Home: Error: Variable 'cat_full_name_linked' is not a code reference:

Do you have a global named "cat_full_name_linked" ? This looks like the problem (either it won't compile for some reason, or it doesn't exist ... which is the more likely option :P).

Hope that helps.

Hi Amy,

Try changing the default template set to be "search_engine" instead of "default" - it's on the Setup -> Defaults page of your admin panel.
