I'm running gossamer forum on a site. Works nicely, thanks.

a couple of questions:

I'd like to delete a forum and move all the messages in it to another forum. Is there a quick way I can move the messages, without having to move them one by one. (Perhaps someone can point me to some sample sql?)

Also I would like to modify the signup form so users are asked to opt in/opt out of a newsletter at this stage. They should also be able to change their choice later through the profile page. Could someone point me to a relevant posting or thread? thanks

Not definate; but I *think* you should be given the option to move the posts into an existing forum?
